The Lebanese
Association for Development (Al Majmoua) helps small
entrepreneurs and small employees to have financial and non
financial services in shape of small loans, exhibitions,
training and other activities.
We (Al-Majmoua) started the developmental
work, in 1994 as a part of the United Nation
program "save the children", (international organization
concerned with development projects especially in developing
countries).

|
The breakthrough was with the collective loan
(5 women with very small projects). |
| |
|
The Lebanese
Association for Development (Al Majmoua), after the success of
the collective loan project of 5 women, was
officially established in 1997 as an independent Lebanese non
governmental organization (NGO), non-profit. |
| |
|
The "group" is adopted, since
its founding, on transparency and clarity in dealing without any
adherence to any religious or political trend. And the only
beneficiary from our programs is Lebanese citizen or any person
residing legally in Lebanon without discrimination. |
|
|
General purpose of the
association is helping these free professionals and small business
men and women from low-income workers, in addition to unsecured creditors and employees with low salaries, these people generally do not have
access to the banks to get a loan. We provide growth and development opportunities for
them, through the delivery of financial loans for the development
of their works and improve their social positions. |
