BRUMMANA

THE FLOWER CITY

Brummana is the destination providing healthy environment entertaining nightlife, education, family life and sports activities.

Located at 17-Km from Beirut, on one of the Metn's Hills in Mount Lebanon, this small city most famous for its fresh weather and its vibrant nightlife, is a favorite destination for both tourists and locals.

At 750 meters above sea level, Brummana offers a spectacular view overlooking both the coast and the mountains. It also allows an easy access to Beirut, as to other famous historic and natural sites in the country including Byblos, Baalbek and the Jeita Grotto.

Surrounded by green mountains and valleys covered with everlasting Pine forests, Brummana renews charm every season, looking different but equally stunning any time of the year.

The municipality is undertaking a number of medium and longterm  projects to add to the city's charm and image and to assure its position as a main tourist destination in Lebanon all year round.

This year the Municipality will initiate a three years project announcing Brummana, The Flower City; thousands of flowerbeds will be planted at different entrances leading to the city. Flowers will be also distributed to residents living on the 6 Km long main street to decorate their balconies.

Over the years, a growing number of Lebanese and Arab families have made Brummana their primary residence, and today , it is home to a large number of fine hotels, restaurants, cafes, nightclub and resorts as well as over 200 shops and commercial establishments.

Historically Brummana has also attracted first class schools, and gives Lebanon and Arab world, a noteworthy educational institution, the Brummana High School (BHS), which was founded 130 years ago and since 1884, has been successfully run by a local executive committee appointed by the trusties of the school (QUIET) in England.

During the past few years, Brummana has witnessed a rapid growth in the real estate and construction fields, which have attracted a large number of Arab and foreign investors.

Brummana is taking small, yet confident steps in a journey aiming for the utmost level of quality in the service sector. Today the city is a dazzling leisure destination all year round, and the home of a growing cordial full-fledged community.
