I just found the website which you and your dear
family put together. I must tell you that,
I was so impressed and thrilled with the site and feel
proud of you all.
I shared your website with the members of my
Yahoogroup (Nabatieh and surroundings). The members of my club

Nabatieh and its surroundings.
Please give my greetings to my dear uncle and
your family.
Insha allah I will visit Lebanon next year, and tell them
face to face, how proud I am of what they achieved with Harouf
website.
Again, congratulations on the website and kul

Assalam Alaykum Wa rahmatullah Wa barakatuh
I am glad to see remarkable and excellent efforts put in presenting
the site. What I would like to see in future
updates is information on the planned
activities within Harouf Municipal Area and the achieved ones,
also if you can emphasize on the projects shared with other
neighbouring villages.
Good Work and Best Regards
Ahmad Mohamad Badreddine

Dear webmaster,
My name is Leila Moussa and I'm from Harouf. I was born and raised in
America, but whenever we come to visit, I always spend lots of time in
Harouf, because I have a lot of family there. I've been to Harouf so
many times. I've been to Lebanon 8 times and I always go to Harouf.
Both my grandfathers live there. My mom's dad is Hydar Atoui, and my
dad's dad is Hajj Abu Zahi Moussa. We even have a house in harouf
next to my Gido Abu Zahi. My dad told me about your website and so I
came on. I think its really nice, but the problem is that I don't
read Arabic good, so I didn't understand a lot of the stuff you guys
wrote down. Do you guys ever put stuff in English? Well it was nice
talking to you. Bye

A
WORD OF HAPPINESS AND LOVE
First,
I want to congratulate Harouf, for having great people, that are
working hard to make it better everyday.
Second, I want to congratulate you on this amazing website, that
was a light of hope to many people.
Third, I want to thank each person, that helped on making this
website. I am Abeer Ahmad Lizzeik, a student in UAE. I am about 15
years old. I am from Jnoub (Dwair), and my mom is from Harouf. I
never, actually lived in Lebanon, but I spend most of my vacations
in Jnoub, especially in Harouf.
When I first got the news about this website, I couldn't believe
it in the beginning, but when I tried entering it and it worked,
there was the shock. I didn't believe that it was true, I was
amazed and happy more than anything. Knowing that a village in
Lebanon in Jnoub, has all these people, that care about, and love
made me hate being away from my country. First I started looking
at some pictures of some simple places in Harouf. Then, the second
shock was having my aunt's word on the front page of the website.
My aunt Huda Harkous, wrote the most perfect words, that really
describe our feelings towards our country. That makes me unable to
add any word to what she said, and what others said about the
website, about Harouf, about Jnoub, and about Lebanon, our great
country that has to be really proud for having great people, doing
what is impossible, to keep it higher and greater than it is now.
Thank you for all your work. Some little words from a big heart.
Abeer
Ahmad Lizzeik
